As impressive as Alabama has been, I still think Oklahoma is better on a neutral field. They dismantled a good TCU team.

Chad Metz #1

The Sooners have yet to fall, so they make it to the top of the polls.

Archie Adams #1

They're a great team and put a whippin' on TCU, but their schedule doesn't help them any.

Jackson Smith #1

This team is really hitting on all cylinders offensively. They have yet to play a real quality team yet. The Sooners should win the Big 12, but they must get past Texas in a heated rivalry.

The clear-cut No.1 team after a wild weekend filled with upsets.

Oklahoma took on on of the top ranked defenses in the nation this last Saturday. TCU shut down their run game, but quarterback Sam Bradford went to the air for 411 yards and four touchdowns. Oklahoma's defense held TCU to only 10 points, far below their average of 47.

The Sooners offense had been hitting on all cylinders with Bradford leading the charge. We may find out more about this team after back to back games against Texas and Kansas.

I like this team a lot more as a #2 than a #1 team. Did not play as well "from the front" last year. Hopefully, this team is more mature and can handle expectations.

Oklahoma is the obvious favorite after another impressive win. I have three words for Oklahoma and Texas this week "don't look ahead". It was only a year ago when their rivalry game took a hit as both teams fell to unranked opponents.

This team is so complete and dominate. Its just not fair to the other Big 12 teams.

A well-rounded program hitting its stride.

Move up to No. 1 by default, but are hanging on by a thread - not because of anything they're doing wrong, but because of how well Alabama is playing. We'll find out in two weeks how good this team really is.

Oklahoma beats a worthy opponent in TCU handily and QB Sam Bradford proved that he is worthy of serious consideration for the Heisman Trophy

Michael Shibley #1

May have not played as tough a schedule as Alabama so far, but they are a stronger team long term that Alabama.

Justin Goar #1

The Sooners still have the tough games to come on the schedule but for now rule the #1 spot.

I guess I have to agree with everyone else once in a while.
