Best QB and WR tandem in College Football. One of the highest scoring offenses in the nation.
Jimson Cuenta #1
The Missouri Tigers make it to #1, even after a bye week!
Nicholas Pardini #1
Due to the losses of USC and Florida, Missouri moves up to number one in my poll after a bye week. Chase Daniel is the best quarterback in the nation and great quarterback play is essential for national title.
Mitchell Morse #1
Chad Metz #2
The Tigers offense has put them in the driver's seat in the Big 12 North.
Chris Flanagan #2
The best football is in the Big 12. Missouri is there but don't have the defense to be #1.
Mark Jones #2
Don Bradner #2
Michael Cline #3
John Langford #3
Archie Adams #3
Missouri enjoyed their bye week and hope to be energized heading into Big 12 play.
Chad Haynie #3

Offense is playing remarkable. Could be the best quarterback and receiver combination in the nation with Daniel and Maclin. Defense is still suspect. Could they beat Texas right now?
Dustin Delahoussaye #3
Chase Daniel is completing over 80% of his passes and has the Tigers in cruise control.
Steven Smith #3
Adam Lindemer #3
Moved up despite having played a game last weekend.

Missouri was off this week, but they will be a team to be reckoned with. Jeremy Macklin is probably my pick for the Heisman right now. He does everything, running, receiving, and returning. Chase Daniel may cancel him out however. This week starts a tough stretch at Nebraska, hosting OK State, then at Texas.

Adam Wren #3
Chase Daniel - need I say more?
Wes O'Donnell #3
Pete Dymeck #3
The Tigers need to fix their defense first by putting a clamp down in the secondary but still, they can run with anybody in the country. They need to overcome their two losses from a year ago to Oklahoma though.

For now I put the Tigers of Missouri at number 3 but I am not sold on this team at all. Any team that allows 42 points vs Illinois has question marks in my opinion. Chase Daniel and their stud wide receiver are in the top 5 so far for the Heisman but I do not see Missouri getting by Oklahoma.
Bill Wilson #3
Chase Daniels Heisman winner we shall see
Ashley Kleffer #3
It's Big 12 time... crack open a can of whoop-ass for Nebraska next weekend.
Derek Stephens #3
Great offense. Great team.
Eric Gomez #3
Probably not going to get to the title game at this point, but a great team.
Austin Todd #3

Chase Daniel, right now, is the best player in the nation.

Chase Daniels. Jeremy Maclin. Enough said.
Peter Fleischer #3
If they make it out of October undefeated, they have a chance to run the table until the Big 12 title game. I personally think they're better then LSU, if only by a little.
Jesse Monday #3
A contender for a championship only id it can overcome Oklahoma. This ranking may be short lived.
Jayson Stock #3
Tigers look real good, but benefit from a bye week on upset Saturday.
Will Devlin #4
Idling has it's privileges when everyone else starts losing.
Tosten Burks #4

The game against Nebraska doesn't look as tough, but Texas is looming in the next couple weeks.
Benjamin Crane #4

The Tigers were relaxing this weekend, but given the number of ranked teams that fell I am sure they are happy about it. Watch for them at Nebraska this Saturday.

The tigers are led by Heisman hopeful Chase Daniel and playmaker Jeremy Maclin into Memorial Stadium next week to play a Husker team who will be looking to avenge their loss to Virginia Tech.

Missouri stays at number 4 in the nation after struggling against an upstart Buffalo team, but they still have Chase Daniel who only threw seven incomplete passes and his passer rating for the season is 193.4.
Perry Griffith #4
Colin Clark #4
Ryan Williams #4
Bryan Gonzalez #4
Will be tested by big 12 schedule.
Michael Shibley #4
Putting up Xbox numbers on offense. Can they keep that up against the Big XII?
Craig Bowie #4
David Morgan #4
A little worried about their defense, but if the offense keeps it up could make a run
troy korth #4
Offensive jugernaught. Watch out.
Owen Munro #4
Josh Rosenberg #4
Chase Daniel to Jeremy Maclin.....Touchdown!!!!
Isaac Elyacharshuster #4
Scott Glesner #4
Chase and the boys start their Big 12 schedule at Lincoln. They have some videotape to help from the VT-NEB game.
Joe Barton #4
Mizzou has the most high-powered offense in college football. Chase Daniel will win the Heisman unless he is injured or loses the rest of his games. The Tigers are averaging over 53 points a game up to this point. The only thing to worry about is the defense which gave up 21 against Buffalo. As long as the offense is rolling, they don't need a defense. The Big 12 Championship game is going to be exciting.

They won just by not playing.
Allen Levin #5
The Tigers breezed by with a 42-21 rout over Buffalo last week. Oklahoma State and Texas loom in the near future.
andrew johnston #5
still not sure about this defense...
BabyTate #5
Trey Bradley #5
Probably spent a lot of time on defense during the bye week. A head-and-shoulders favorite in the Big12 North.
Will Shelton #5
Tim Pollock #5
Scientizzle FoShizzle #5
I worry about this team's propensity to get into shootouts.
Timothy Croley #5
The Tigers are putting up good numbers on offense. A five spot is very deserving right now.
Lisa Horne #5
Justin Goar #5
With one of the best offenses in the country, the Tigers will have to prove they have the defense to be a top flight team, especially in the secondary.
Marde Burke #5
Only a loss to Oklahoma will keep this team from a championship
Frank Therber #5
Scott McDaniel #5
James Doker #5
We'll know more about them after they finally start conference play; the Illinois win doesn't tell much yet.
Ian Zymarakis #5
T.J. Beard #5
Missouri gets the nod over the Longhorns due to a victory over a ranked opponent; something Texas currently lacks.
Zach Stevens #5
Derrek Croney #5
Beating Illinois in Week 1 was good, but they haven't played anyone respectable since, so they get a slight demotion here.

Possibly the best offense in the country. Chase Daniel is the best QB right now. Defense is still suspect considering Illinois was able to put up 450+ yards and 5 legit TDs.
Wesley Marshall #6
Nebraska should be a good warmup to start conference play before consecutive weeks against ranked teams.
Ryan Gemmell #6
Possibly the best offense in the country. Chase Daniel is the best QB right now. Defense is still suspect considering Illinois was able to put up 450+ yards and 5 legit TDs.
Avinash Kunnath #6
Paul Augustin #7
No one is playing quarterback better than Chase Daniel. The defense needs to step it up or they will fall quickly.
miamimitchdotcom #7
This is the state of CFB this week, A team with a defense like this in the top 10.
Kristofer Green #7
Brad Shipley #9
This team has a lot left to prove.
Scott Pusich #10
(previous: 10) Would have dropped a place, but stay at #10 (see BYU at #7). Playing anyone would have helped, especially in conference. Face a tough test next week on the road against Nebraska; the 'Huskers will be ready to get the bad taste of a home loss to Virginia Tech out of their mouths.
