I'm honestly hoping they get blown out by Penn State on Oct. 25 so we don't have to see them get blown out in the NC again. And yes, they could be there again if we have another year full of upsets.

(previous: 13) Does the loss to USC look better or worse now? Who cares? Coach Tressel seems to have resolved to "bloody" Pryor (as the Brits would say), giving him ample playing time to develop, and to get him ready for battle in the BIG conference games. Circle Oct. 25 at home vs. Penn State (if the Bucks don't trip up before then). 3rd-highest ranked team with a loss (4-1).
Bryan Gonzalez #11
With Pryer taking more snaps can OSU make a run for the Big Ten Title?
David Morgan #11
Let's see....Ohio State lost to the #1 team in the nation at USC. USC lost to an unranked team, Georgia lost at home (should have been a blowout no thanks to Alabama quitting in the second half), and Florida lost to a non-ranked team at home. Does this prove the media still holds a grudge against the Buckeyes? I think so.
Derrek Croney #11
With Pryor and Wells in the backfield, I can almost buy the Buckeyes as a BCS title contender. Check back with me if they beat Wisconsin in Madison this weekend.
Jayson Stock #11
Well the USC defeat was rough, but with Wells back they are a different team.

Even if they finish 11-1, does anybody really think anyone will vote them #1 or #2 again?

An offense with a Terrelle Pryor and a healthy Beanie Wells is still one of the favorites to win the Big 10.

Do not believe for a minute that this team revolves around running back Chris Wells. This team is built on defense. The defense needs to stand up and perform at its expected levels or they are in for a rough ride in the Big Ten.

Pryor is playing better each game. If the defense steps it up they could still be the team to beat in the Big10.
Scott Glesner #12
All it takes is to get your #1 RB back to look like a top 10 team again? Really? That's it?

Pryor is playing better each game. If the defense steps it up they could still be the team to beat in the Big10.
Jeffrey McDaniel #13
The Buckeyes are on the verge of becoming insignificant in the Big 10. They play one of the weakest nonconference schedules, despite playing USC, and beating up on Minnesota won't change that percpetion.
Archie Adams #13
Terrelle Pryor seems to be the answer for the Buckeyes. To bad they won't get a chance at USC unless it's in the Rose Bowl.
Jared Reback #13
Interesting to see how they play against a desperate Wisconsin this weekend.

Losing 35-3 to USC will keep this Buckeyes' team from playing for a title. No matter if fans want to hear it or not, Buckeyes have no shot to go to Miami and play for the title game this year. They have lost too many big games in blowout fashion...something that sticks with voters forever. Ohio State will be playing in at best the Rose Bowl. I think they will lose another game anyway's before the season is over which will ultimately end their bid for any BCS bowl. They are a better team with Pryor too.

Huge game this week at Wisconsin. Win that, and the season can be turned around. Lose, and well I hear Tampa is nice on New Year's Day.

Now their loss to USC looks even worse. Not exactly the OSU that Pete Carroll was worried about.

The Buckeyes have recovered from their humiliating 35-3 loss to the Trojans with two straight wins. No. 18 Wisconsin is up next.

Pryor will win a Heisman, that much is clear. Can he develop fast enough to get OSU another Big Ten championship?

Starting to come around with Pryor at quarterback. Nice to have Beanie Wells back also.

Even with Beanie Wells, the Buckeyes had trouble putting away the Gophers.

As much as i hate giving the buckeyes my vote, they are a better team with Pryor and can only improve.

Pryor is the real deal. However, can he make big plays against Wisconsin or Penn State?
T.J. Beard #15
Since embarassing Youngstown State, the Buckeyes have not hit their grove. Opportunites remain, however, for this one loss team. A win against Wisconsin this weekend would help that.
James Doker #15
The jury is out until the Wells and Pryor version of the Buckeyes gets to play against a real opponent.

Beanie Wells came back on Saturday to aid Ohio State's victory against Minnesota. Terrel Pryor's composure ultimately will determine Ohio State's standing in the Big Ten.

Playing a freshman at quarterback is not going to help them this year. I don't think they can sneak in to the championship game again. Should not win Big 10.

They're not worthy and playing weak teams close.

Beanie Wells is back but their is a new top team in the Big ten.
Will Devlin #17
Outlasted a decent Gopher team.

This Saturday's game in Madison is a must win for the Buckeyes who were built to win this year.
Timothy Croley #17
You are lucky to be here, Buckeye. Don't blow it this week up in cheese land!
troy korth #17
Weak conference should keep this team hi in the polls.
Jesse Monday #17
Maybe with Chris Wells the Buckeyes might actually look liek a decent football team.
