The win at Autzen is better than anything that the undefeated teams below them have.
Brad Shipley #8
It's too bad they aren't in the PAC-10. Along with Fresno, Utah, and BYU.

Going to only be a handful of undefeateds in a week or so, the Broncos could be one of them.
Jesse Monday #11
The WAC is back at their disposal. Hawaii is out of the picture and Boise State is ready to prove why they have been undefeated 3 times in the previous 5 seasons.
Josh Rosenberg #11
Could this be 2006 all over again?

Blue turf!

Can two non-BCS schools crash the BCS party. With the strength of the Mountain West and Boise finaly beating a BCS school on the road with their victor against Oregon, the Broncos schedule sets up for another Fiesta Bowl appearance. The Broncos only remaining challenge is a home game against Fresno State which has not won on the blue turf this millennium.

Unfortunately Boise did not start high enough in the poles to make another BCS run. Fresno will have something to say also
Pete Dymeck #14
The only thing people know about these Broncos is that their running back is infamous for proposing to his cheerleader girlfriend after knocking Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl a couple of years ago. Let me tell you, wide receiver Titus Young is one of the best in the nation that you never heard of.
troy korth #14
Always a tough team that belives they are good. Not intimidated by anyone or any venue.
Isaac Elyacharshuster #14
Peter Fleischer #14
Hey, they're undefeated, and have Ian Johnson. Let's throw 'em up there for nostalgia's sake! BSU has a chance to dance the BCS dance once again.
Archie Adams #15
The Broncos should breeze through their schedule til their matchup with Fresno St.
Michael Devivero #15
Ian Zymarakis #15
Jayson Stock #16
The Broncos are undefeated, but still have a long way to go.

Coming off a 37-32 win over ranked Oregon was the highlight of their season so far.

The Broncos have looked fairly strong so far this young season. Can't let the week off after the Oregon game slow them down.

Just kind of sitting around right now, but they have a lot of winnable games and will move up the rankings if they take care of business.

Trey Bradley #17
Looking forward to seeing this team on ESPN this week.

Ian Johnson is a first round back. Keeping the Broncos on the run in the WAC.
jon s #17
They had an impressive win vs Oregon and even though Oregon is down to their 3rd or 4th string quarterback, Oregon has a good secondary that was burned by Boise St. receivers. Many people will think they are overrated but Boise St. can and should be considered a good football program now. Just ask Oklahoma. However, I see them losing at least one game.
Bryan Gonzalez #17
Fresno and Boise should compete for WAC title
David Morgan #17
Already a cinderella above them in Utah so probably no glass slipper this year.
Derek Stephens #17
Another BCS Sleeper.
College Football Fanatic #17
We could have two non-BCS conference teams in BCS bowls this year, and the winner of BSU-Fresno State on Nov. 28 could decide the other.

Big surprise win against Oregon, and looking to crash the BCS party once again.

Playing well early one but they have a couple of tough games coming.

Well, no upset by the Bye Week this weekend. The schedule does not help them in the future...well, more of the conference and not the schedule.

Only time will tell if the Broncos can repeat their 2006 season, but they are on their way so far.

(previous: 20) The "Smurf & Turf" Broncos stay put this week (see #7, #10, #14, and #16). Face a midweek game on "WTF" Wednesday, Oct. 1, at home vs. Louisiana Tech. As I said last week, a steep climb up the rankings is not very likely.
Craig Bowie #20
Wes O'Donnell #20

Another non BCS Conference school playing well. This will make it tough for voters come BCS bowl time. Ian Johnson is good.

Nothing against the Broncos, but my idea of Wednesday night programming does not include subjecting myself to blue turf on the 4-letter network.
