Jawhawks' only loss came against a very good South Florida team. A much tougher schedule this year will really test them. Four of the remaining games are against teams currently ranked in the top 7.

Brett Lissenden #14

Tim Pollock #14

Will Chambers #14
Todd Reesing needs to keep up his stellar play if they want to win the Big 12 north.

Stephen Williams #14

Joe Bleacher #14
Kansas has a very good team. The loss to USF is tough and Reesing wants that one back but he is still a premier college QB. The defense is playing well again.

Mangino can still get it done after last year's success.

Bill Wilson #15
After losing a tough game on the road they come back for a good win this weekend.

College Football Fanatic #15
Despite the tough loss to USF, they still look good.

That loss to USF looks better every week.

Can they be a challenge to Mizzou at the end of the year?

jon s #16
Another team I am not completely sold on. They did play a pretty good USF team well but eventually lost. Thy have a good quarterback and decent defense. They will lose 2 games at least and will be ranked in the low 20's by the end of the year.

Kevin Buller #16

Mike Bedgood #16

David Morgan #16
Will get eaten alive in the Big 12

Justin Goar #16
After Iowa State this weekend, the Jayhawks have some big boys to play.

troy korth #16
Going to be tested a lot.

Wes O'Donnell #16

Zach Stevens #16

Derrek Croney #17
The Jayhawks handled the bye-week nicely, and should win against Iowa State. But looming off in the horizon is one BRUTAL stretch of football.

Peter Fleischer #17
Took a week off to get ready for Big 12 play. In a couple of weeks they'll start losing left and right, but for now they'll handle business.

Kristofer Green #17

Kansas suffered a heartbreaking loss to USF two weeks ago. They recovered with a win over Sam Houston State last weekend and their quarterback looked dominant as ever. Todd Reesing threw for 356 yards and two touchdowns. He needs to continue this type of play if the Jayhawks plan on being successful as they play four top 10 teams before the season ends.

Archie Adams #17
They get Iowa State before facing the rest of their grueling Big 12 schedule.

Matt Wright #17

Justin Potts #17

Adam Wren #17

Pete Dymeck #17
One of the great unknowns. Kansas has a bumpy ride ahead so getting protection for quarterback Todd Reesing needs to happen.

Ian Zymarakis #17

Avinash Kunnath #17

Matthew Smith #17

Josh Rosenberg #18
Back on track and ready for Big 12 play.

plodding along as one of the most experienced teams in the country.

Colin Clark #18

Bryan Gonzalez #18
can still move up with big wins in the Big 12

Owen Munro #18

The Jayhawks are a good team, but how will they perform during their conference season.

Jeffrey McDaniel #19
Still a contender in the Big 12, but it will take a miracle.

Jared Reback #19
The showdown with Oklahoma looms in a couple weeks, but Iowa State and Colorado stand in the way.

Adam Lindemer #19
Yet another Big 12 team that fails to lose.

Ryan Williams #19

Craig Bowie #19

Good but the big XII si still too good for them to compete. Come on you lost USF.

Scott Glesner #19
Yes, they still are a contender in the Big 12...did everyone forget?

Jay Jones #20

Trey Bradley #20
This team isn't going to be around long. The Big12 will hand the Jayhawks at least 3 more losses.

Timothy Croley #20
One loss to a good USF team is all that has them down right now. They'll make a good run and be a threat to contend with.

Nicholas Pardini #20
Kansas has performed as expected so far this season. The Big XII season will prove Kansas' viability.

Tosten Burks #21

T.J. Beard #22
Reesing off to a great start. Still a shame the Jayhawks couldn't take care of business against South Florida a couple weeks ago.

Jackson Smith #25
Loss to USF supports my idea that last year was more a fluke than anything else. Mangino is huge.
