Season getting muddy, right in the Hokies comfort zone.

The Hokies are the best at doing something with a loss...too bad they have to have the loss to show this much improvement.

Bouncing back nicely after that loss to ECU. Taylor is clearly the difference at quarterback.

Different team than the one that lost to ECU.

Credit Frank Beamer; this is a young team improving and finding more than one way to win; 35 points at Nebraska was impressive.

The Hokies got another big win on the road

Josh Rosenberg #21
The loss at East Carolina was a stunner, but don't count them out of the ACC title game yet.

Allen Levin #21
Besides their sole loss to ECU, the Hokies have looked legitimate, especially against conference foes.

The ACC sends a warm-hearted "Thank You" and a collective "sigh" after the Hokies went on the road and beat a decent Nebraska outfit.

Peter Fleischer #22
Held off a late comeback from Nebraska, Tyrod Taylor is now the starter in Blacksburg.

Brian Scott #22

Jared Reback #22
After the disaster that was the Wake-Navy game, VTech is back in the driver's seat in the ACC.

(previous: NR) Ladies and gentlemen: the *best* team in the ACC. The Hokies should stick with their "throwback" unis (at least on the road), they seemed to do the trick in hostile territory last weekend against Nebraska. It's never easy to come out of Lincoln with a win. Showed signs that "Beamerball" special teams are back, too. The Hokies are undefeated in the ACC, for now, and taking a holiday this weekend, at home to the "baker's special" Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky (the 120th team at FBS/1-A level, beginning next year). 9th-highest ranked team with a loss (4-1).
