I guess 5-0 is 5-0 no matter how you look at it.

Brett Lissenden #12

Mosang Miles #13

Robbie Munroe #15

Timothy Croley #15
Even BabyTate has me believing now. This is a pretty good team.

tom scurlock #15

Jayson Stock #17
Kind of a surprise to be undefeated, but they will challenege USF for Big East title.

Kristofer Green #18

Tim Pollock #18

James Doker #18
They definitely aren't sexy, but until they lose a game, they've got enough cred to be ranked.

Derrek Croney #19
Don't look now, but the Huskies are unbeaten and winning by all means necessary (read: ugly). Now a trip to North Carolina looms -- who would have pictured this to be a key game at the start of the season?

Ian Zymarakis #19
Maybe they aren't just a basketball school anymore

Isaac Elyacharshuster #19

Peter Fleischer #20
Why are the Huskies not getting more love? They seem like a legit contender in the Big East.

Will Devlin #20
Another impressive 5-0 start by outlasting a struggling Louisville squad.

Tosten Burks #20

BabyTate #20

Jonathan Lintner #20

I promised UConn fans they would be in my top 25 this week, here you are.

Marde Burke #20
Week conference will help move these guys up in the poles

Alex Farrer #20

T.J. Beard #20
No impressive wins yet, but they are 5-0.

Bill Wilson #20
Very good back in Donald Brown who will need to carry them again this week.

Wes O'Donnell #21

Jared Reback #21
Good news: 5-0. Bad news: Tyler Lorenzen out for most of the season. UConn will struggle to keep reeling in the wins.

Ned Dutton #21

Adam Lindemer #21
5-0...in football, wow, this really is a new year.

Dan Boss #21

Archie Adams #21
They have played great football so far and are led by one of the nations best running backs.

Matt Wright #21

Dan Alexandre #21

Scott Pusich #21
(previous: 24) Not under the radar anymore, due to a clutch win at Louisville last Friday, and due to "wonderback" Donald Brown, the nation's leading rusher at this time. Like Vandy two weeks ago, I had UConn in my Top 25 *last* week... so (again): neener, neener, NEE-ner! However, the Huskies lost starting quarterback Tyler Lorenzen, and so there is a danger opponents will stack the D-line the rest of the season. Replacement QB Zach Frazer may be in over his head. Watch for that this weekend in a suddenly intriguing matchup in Chapel Hill between UConn and the North Carolina Tarheels, who dispatched the Miami Hurricanes on the road last week. (Are we really sure that it isn't basketball season yet? hee hee)

troy korth #21
This team could be the champ in the weak big east.

Avinash Kunnath #21

John Langford #22

andrew johnston #22

Hector Aleandro #22

Scott Redlich #22

Chris Flanagan #22

Stephen Williams #22

Nicholas Pardini #22
Uconn has not had any impressive wins, but similarly to last season's Huskies, they find ways to win. With a soft Big East schedule, UConn can amass a win total that is much greater than their talent level.

Will Shelton #22
And here's another one.

Jesse Monday #22
Undefeated why are they all the way back here? Noone cares, that's why.

Don Bradner #22

Jon Ellsworth #23

Jackson Smith #23
Second best team in the weak Big East. They will get way up to play the Bulls later.

Dustin Delahoussaye #23

Allen Levin #23
The Huskies stayed perfect with a 26-21 victory over Louisville. They will compete with USF for the Big East crown.

GeorgiaDawg #23

Colin Clark #23
Is your team 5-0? I thought not.

Bryan Gonzalez #23
Still undefeated...still untested.

Owen Munro #23

Brian Scott #24

Chad Haynie #24

Michael Shibley #24
Huskies started off like this last year. Can they stay unblemished this time?

Mark Jones #24

Zach Stevens #24

Josh Rosenberg #25
Ok sure, they are 5-0. But they beat Temple an FCS team 12-9, Baylor the worst team in the Big Ten 31-28, Louisville, 26-21, and now, their quaerterback Tyler Lorenzen is injured. This team is looking for a beating and is going to get more than one badly now that Big East play started.

Trey Bradley #25
Not going anywhere with an injured QB. First loss is right around the corner.

Will Chambers #25
Convincing win against Louisville on thursday night.

Scott McDaniel #25

Joe Bleacher #25

Scott Glesner #25
Can you imagine what you would say to a person if they told you 5-10 years ago that the class of the Big East in football in 2008 would be South Florida and Connecticut? What's next...Duke blowing out an ACC opponent? Oh wait...

Ryan Gemmell #25
