Breaking News: Lane Kiffin Fired By Raiders

Yama Hazheer@Yama_HazheerCorrespondent IISeptember 30, 2008

After two horrendous fourth quarter collapses by the Oakland Raiders, Al Davis has decided that it would be the last chance Kiffin would have as the Oakland head coach. His record with the Raiders is 5-15, ten games below 500.

Kiffin was fired Tuesday morning by Al Davis who has been criticized for a lot of his past moves including the move he pulled of today by firing the youngest coach in all of the major four sports in the United States.

The Raiders have had four different coaches since the loss in the Super Bowl to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Raiders defensive coordrinator Rob Ryan, wide receiver coach James Lofton, and running back coach Tom Rathman are the lead candidates to replace Kiffin as head coach of this franchise.
