An Official Apology to Liverpool Football Fans

Dear Liverpool supporters,

By now, you've most likely seen my two articles taking shots at Liverpool. What was supposed to be meant as jokes has been blown into a mini WWIII here on Bleacher Report. 

I would like to apologize for any offense that I've committed to you. I had thought people would see past the words and realized that it was a joke. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.

I've been known to go overboard when I'm on a roll. Looks like I did that with Liverpool. I have nothing against Liverpool fans or the city of Liverpool. Some of the best writers here on B/R are Liverpool supporters.

I am not someone who is classist (for lack of a better term) toward Liverpool. I merely dislike them very much. With that said, any chance I get to blast them, I will—within reason.

So, with that said, I'm sorry for offending the Liverpool army.
