March Madness 2011 Predictions: Who are the Top Seeds, Who are the Bubble Teams?
There’s a story we tell in my circle of friends about the infamous Ryan Braun Train Bracket, a bracket of such frighteningly adept prognostication that it is almost not to be believed.
Which, is essentially the problem I’ve been having since.
Nobody believes me.
You see, as the legend goes, I left the RBTB on a train where it drove off into eternity. This has not aided the story’s credibility. Nor has the fact that the friend who was riding on the train with me maintains that yes, he does remember me filling out a bracket, but no, he does not remember North Carolina losing in the second round.
That’s the legend of the RBTB.
That was a long time ago.
Today, we’re entering a new age.
An age of crystal ball-type foresight crossed with public Internet documentation where I can accountably test my skills once and for all.
Today, we’ll be looking at the potential top seeds in the Tournament, the bubble teams, and Virginia Tech—who would be owed a birth this year even if they didn’t deserve it.
USC and Alabama? We’ll touch on them too.
Selection Sunday is tomorrow, and I’ve just been informed that it happens to coincide with Daylight Savings time.
I’ll be here all day.
Let me show you the light.
