There’s a lot going on in the world of quarterbacks and we’re only four weeks into the season. Marc Bulger was benched, then St. Louis coached Scott Linehan was fired following a loss. Carson Palmer sat out a loss to the Browns, paving the way for Ryan Fitzpatrick to get the start. Aaron Rodgers left the game against Tampa Bay, only to come back and throw an interception. He is nursing a sprained shoulder and should be able to play this week. At least, the Packers are hoping he can, so is his backup is rookie Matt Flynn. Tyler Thigpen is no longer a starting quarterback, leaving fans in Kansas City to rejoice. Derek Anderson led the Browns to a win but could soon be replaced by Brady Quinn.

It goes further and further but what it really means is that you’d better be sure of your quarterback situation. If you’re not, here’s the Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Week 5 Quarterback Rankings with a projected point total for each player to help you make your decision of who to play and who to sit.
--------------------

1. Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Cincinnati

If the Cowboys were looking for a way to rebound after losing their first game of the season to the Redskins last week, there is no better opportunity than to play against the Bengals. The one team the Bengals have faced so far that could pass well was the Giants, and in that game Cincinnati's defense collapsed, especially late in the game and in overtime. Terrell Owens is asking for the ball more and it’s a good bet he’ll get it a lot more this week. The Cincinnati defense should provide little resistance for Romo, who should help the Cowboys bounce back nicely after a shaky performance against Washington.
Point Projection: 24 Points

--------------------

2. Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints) vs. Minnesota

Brees represents the second of two favorable matchups for quarterbacks this week, with the first being Romo. The passing offense for the Saints ranks first in the league while the team is fifth in the NFL in scoring. The team was also boosted by the return of running back Deuce McAllister, who will help open up the playbook. The Vikings, while excellent against the run, are susceptible to the pass. Even without wide receiver Marques Colston, this one could turn ugly for the Vikings.
Point Projection: 22 Points

--------------------

3. Eli Manning (New York Giants) vs. Seattle

Both the Giants and the Seahawks are coming off their bye week, but it is the Giants that are the healthier team. So far, Manning is off to his best start by far as he’s thrown for 765 yards with four touchdowns and just one interception while completing 60.7 percent of his passes through the team’s first three games. Seattle was thought to have a good defense, but so far the Seahawks rank 25th in pass defense and 26th in points allowed. New York will be without receiver Plaxico Burress, who is out one game for violating team rules, but that won’t hinder Manning at all as he still has Amani Toomer, Steve Smith, Sinorice Moss and Kevin Boss to throw the ball to.
