2011 NFL Mock drafts might take a backseat to the NCAA bracket for the next two weeks, but they most certainly have gained a ton of attention since the Combine and will continue to do so until Roger Goodell stands up at the podium in New York and declares, "the 2011 NFL Draft is now officially open". Actually, they will continue to garner attention through that weekend due to the three-day event that is now the Draft.

We have come a long way since season's end and players have done their best to showcase their talents at each stop on the "draft season" circuit.

Things are not over yet as we still have a number of Pro Days and private workouts to go, but the 2011 NFL Draft landscape has certainly begun to take shape.

We can expect some more changes but with no free agency until the owners and NFLPA come to an agreement we should expect to see teams consider needs more heavily than in years past; there is no guarantee they'll find what they need in Free Agency.
