The Big East Conference tournament got underway without a hitch on Tuesday night, but Wednesday was a different story. The Rutgers-St. John's game ended in very controversial fashion when the referees failed to act on a St. John's player stepping out of bounds with time left on the clock and throwing the ball into the air.
There's no time to wallow in controversy because there are still games to be played. In fact, the first game of the quarterfinals between Connecticut and Pittsburgh is underway right now.
