The Soon To Be Curse OF Manny Ramirez(the New Bambino)

The Boston Red Sox will never be the same now that they traded away all of their success to the Dodgers with Manny Ramirez. They traded away Manny Ramirez because he was causing problems in the clubhouse and wasn't getting along with Red Sox management. These are similar reasons of why the Red Sox traded Babe Ruth to the Yankees back in 1919. Then Babe Ruth was phenomenal for New York and cursed the Red Sox for 86 years. The Red Sox broke the curse in 2004 with the help of Manny Ramirez. Now that he is gone the Red Sox wont find success again.

After this season Manny will become a free agent, he has expressed his desire to get revenge against the Red Sox by signing with New York. This may seem far fetched but it is very possible. It makes sense for the Yankees since they need a first baseman and a Designated Hitter. But also it has marketing benefits for Hank Steinbrenner because a Manny Arod duo will be better than the Previous Manny Ortiz duo. But more importantly both AROD and Ramirez are chasing Hank Aaron's record of 600HRS, 3000 hits, and 2000 RBI's. The Red Sox better hope that the Yankees don't sign Manny Ramirez because it could be another long 86 years(probably not that bad) before they ever start winning again.

People may be wondering if Manny would only play those 18 games against the Red Sox and sit the rest of the games due to his laziness. But once players come to New York they change into players with the class that the Yankee organization has always had.
