Bruno Ferreira Bonfim, or simply Dentinho, is a Brazilian striker currently playing for second division Brazilian club Corinthians. Dentinho means "little tooth" in English and it is unclear why he was assigned this nickname. You, the reader, can look at his picture and draw your own conclusions.

Dentinho is a product of the Corinthians youth program. He was called to the Corinthians first team by coach Paulo Carpegiani in June 2007. The 19-year-old made his first appearance versus Palmeiras and scored his first goal in a draw versus Fluminense.

He has been heavily linked to a move to the EPL with an offer from Arsenal FC after he rejected a move to Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia. The player is also wanted by Greek club Olympiacos after their scout Niniadis observed his play.

Corinthians formerly belonged to the Brazilian first division and will be returning next season, after being relegated and losing their sponsor Samsung last season. Even so, Corinthians participated in the Brazil Cup, which involves all clubs and made it to the final, losing to Sport. This cup is the second most important one in Brazil and the winner earns the right to a place in the Libertadores.

Corinthians also has one of the largest followings in Brazil, including such illustrious personalities as the president of the country, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva—or just Lula.

Lula even involved himself briefly in football affairs when he officially asked national team coach Dunga to include the striker Dentinho in the national side, and also to take him to the Olympics. Judging by the letdown from our strikers Sobis and Pato at the Olympics, who can say if the president was not right in making that request.
