UFC on Versus 3 took place from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY.

Organizational newcomer Chris Weidman made his debut on short notice and did not dissapoint, as he won all three rounds on the judges' scorecards.

Three of the events' eight main-card fighters earned bonus checks tonight with former WEC bantamweight champion, Brian Bowles, earning submission of the night honors.

However, the main event was scored a bit differently than most observers in attendance expected, as Diego Sanchez was awarded the split-decision win over Martin Kampmann.

Mark Munoz defeated CB Dollaway via first-round-knockout with a vicious right hand, following up with devastating hammerfists to put an end to contest.
