Breaking News: Washington Redskins Sign Oshiomogho Atogwe

Josh McCainSenior Writer IMarch 3, 2011

Adam Schefter has just tweeted that the Washington Redskins and former Rams safety O.J. Atogwe have agreed to a five year deal.

Atogwe should help fill the void that was at safety all season long opposite LaRon Landry.  The Redskins had a revolving door of different safeties, even cornerbacks back there in pass coverage.

Even though there is no CBA yet, the Skins have filled a hole and Atogwe has played under defensive coordinator Jim Hasseltt before so there should be little adjusting.
