Underestimating Hull City: My Mistake!

After seeing Hull City defy all odds and beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium, I have to say I feel rather embarrassed now that I predicted them to go down at the start of the season, labelling them the "next Derby County".

There is no way that's possible now however, as they've already beaten Derby County in terms of wins and points. Three wins and two draws from six games, including two fantastic away wins at Newcastle and now Arsenal, means Hull have already beaten Derby's total points tally from last season.

It was an amazing victory for the Tigers on Saturday, a victory that shocked the footballing world. No-one expected them to win, least of all Salaar Shamsi, who predicted the Tigers would get beaten 4-0!

But through a stunning 30-yard strike from Brazilian Geovanni, and a header from Daniel Cousin three minutes later, Hull City recorded a famous victory at the Emirates, one that will live long in the memory of all their fans.

And so it seems now, that with a bit of Brazilian magic, an ex-Rangers striker, a win at the Emirates, and more points in the league than Manchester United, Hull City could be a real force this season in the EPL, and a team to watch out for.

As I like to say, if one thing's for certain, it's that Hully City will definitely not be the "next Derby County".
