Karina Smirnoff to Be Possible Dancing with the Stars Contestant, Marry Pitcher Brad Penny?

Karina Smirnoff is making headlines for two reasons these days: she could be a contestant in next season's Dancing with the Stars and she could be married to Brad Penny next year.

Smirnoff said a possible target date to wed Penny would be sometime in January 2012.

She also apparently wants to have kids, but, as she puts it, she doesn't have to look very far to find one already.

Via E! Online:

"Obviously your significant other is always a baby to some respect," she laughed. "A big one: a 6-foot-5 baby but still a baby!"

I wonder if Penny's Detroit Tigers teammates are going to give him some crap about that, or fans in the stands of future Tigers opponents.

I can see the big signs out in the bleachers now: "Why don't you cry about it Brad?"

If Penny throws a fit on the mound this year, people are going to have a field day with Smirnoff's line.

Smirnoff? Baby Penny?

There's got to be a headline in there, too.

I, however, am too unclever to think up such a headline, and, frankly, don't care to rack my brain for one.

I can think of some tasteless signs for fans to create revolving around a baby and some alcohol, but I'm not going to go there (nor should you, baseball fans, nor should you).

But good for Brad and Karina, may they find peace and prosperity.
