American University Trick Shot Video: Watch Eagles' Hill and Luptak Get Creative

There's an American University trick-shot video sweeping across the sports world today, just weeks after UConn quarterback Johnny McEntee wowed us with his trick passes.

This one stars Eagles guards Steve Luptak and Joe Hill spending two-and-a-half minutes attempting (and making) ridiculous shots from all over the court.

They kick things off with a seated shot from half court, and promptly start hitting shots from full court, the press table and the stands. They also hit assorted no-look shots.

One of the high points of the montage is without a doubt the bounce shot hit at the 46-second mark, in which one of the two (you can't see whether it's Hill or Luptak), launches a bomb from the broadcast booth up at the top of the gym.

The ball takes one bounce just inside the three-point line and elevates back to the basket, where it drops without even hitting the rim.

The Eagles are currently 21-8 (11-3 Patriot League) and finished second in the conference behind Bucknell. Unfortunately, barring a conference tournament title, we won't be seeing them in the Big Dance given their lackluster RPI numbers.

Luptak is averaging 2.8 points and 2.3 assists per game, while Hill averages less than a point per game on the season.

Even if they're nowhere close to being the stars of the team, given what they've shown here, I feel like no one at American wants to play them in H-O-R-S-E.
