WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: The Rock to Call out John Cena?
Two weeks removed from The Rock's shocking return on February 14, WWE Raw comes to us tonight from the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY.
The flash bulbs will be popping tonight, because I do believe we will see a face-to-face standoff in the middle of the ring between The Rock and John Cena.
In case you missed it, which you didn't, The Rock responded to Cena's comments towards his career choices and leaving wrestling a few years back.
In an interview with The Sun in 2008, Cena said,
"What I kind of get peeved about, and this is my Achilles heel, is that I've wanted to do this my whole life. Rock falls into that category. At one point he loved wrestling and wanted to do this all his life. Just don't f*** me around and tell me that you love this."
In response, The Rock said he thought Cena was a good guy and made fun of his t-shirt colors and his "U can't see me" catch phrase.
The Rock was absent from Raw last week, but Cena wasn't, and made a response to The Rock as well, making fun of a few of his movies in his vintage rapping form.
Tonight, The Rock is scheduled to be in house and will continue this war that has started.
The big question is, what will it lead to at Wrestlemania 27?
We all know The Rock is going to be hosting the event, but now will he be involved in John Cena's championship match against The Miz? It is quite possible.
Maybe Rock will reveal tonight that he has the powers to do so, which could evolve him into becoming a special enforcer for the match.
Regardless, tonight, I think we do get the face-to-face stand off in the ring that I mentioned earlier in this article.
The Rock has posted a picture on his site, where he is stomping some of Cena's key merchandise.
My favorite thing about all of this from the beginning, is all of the little kids cheering for The Rock until he opened his mouth about Cena —those smiles went to frowns and it just warmed my heart.
What I think would be cool is if Cena came out in one of Rock's old shirts in the ultimate sign of disrespect. How about the "Just Bring It" one, that should be good.
On top of the Rock-Cena saga, Triple H and The Undertaker has been made official at Wrestlemania as well, both men made a return last week and faced off in the middle of the ring without saying anything to each other.
Maybe we will get some words tonight out of The Game and The Deadman.
Also, one of the Armstrong's are expected to be announced as the next Hall Of Fame inductee for the Class of 2011.
Tonight's Raw should be jammed pack with action as we are only a month away from Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta, Georgia.
