UFC 127: George Sotiropoulos vs. Dennis Siver, Round 2
Yikes, the UFC replays show that Sots was strolling down Queer Street on at least three different occasions in the first five minutes. Hellacious left and right hooks were the culprits from Siver as two of the former and one of the latter kept George's bell ringing for the final two minutes.
The second round got off to a groggy start for Sotiropoulos, which is understandable considering the abuse he took in the first. But he started find his range toward the end, landing a nice straight right on several occasions.
All of his takedown attempts were stuffed with relative ease and he caught a kick with his head just as the horn was going off, but I'd still say the Aussie got the second round by the score of 10-9.
That's no small miracle considering he barely survived the opening carnage.
And enough to make this anyone's tussle heading into the third.
