WWE: Mexican Superstar "Mistico" Renamed "Sin Cara" at Todays Press Conference

Sin Cara, formerly known as the exciting and talented high-flyer Mistico, is the WWE's newest superstar.

Stephanie McMahon-Hemsley, Executive Vice President of the WWE, made the announcement to a cheering crowd in Sin Cara's hometown of Mexico City.

Due to the WWE's strong and growing Latino audience on Friday nights, Sin Cara will likely stay on Friday Night Smackdown with fellow Mexican stars Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio, and keep his mask.

Whether Sin Cara goes to the WWE developmental territory FCW for an extended period of time, or straight to the Smackdown roster, I would look forward to seeing Sin Cara vs Rey Mysterio in a match sooner rather than later.  Sin Cara has a similar look to Rey Mysterio and his style reminds me of Mysterio's from 10 years ago.

Regardless of the WWE's plans for Sin Cara, his climb up the roster ladder is sure to be filled with exciting matches and breathtaking moments.

What do you think of WWE signing Sin Cara and of his new name?
