NBA Trades: OKC Sends Forward Jeff Green to Boston for Perkins

Zach HerringCorrespondent IIFebruary 24, 2011

The Boston Celtics traded Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Jeff Green and Nenad Kristic. Green, who was considered a member of the Thunder's "Big Three," has been floating around in trade rumors all season.

Questionable decision for the Celtics to say the least. Not saying Jeff Green is a bad player, but their big men are now Kevin Garnett, Shaq, and Nenad Kristic.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are considered the "winners" of this trade due to the fact that they needed a physical defender and got one in Kendrick Perkins. Kevin Durant posted on his Facebook,

"Tough day for me and my teammates...good luck to jeff green, nenad krstic, mo pete and Dj white...we will miss u guys 4 sure..damn"

Morris Peterson and DJ White were also traded to the Bobcats for Nazr Mohammed.
