The Philadelphia Eagles will be coming into Chicago this Sunday night to take on the Bears in prime time on NBC's Sunday Night Football.

This will be the second home game of the season for the Bears, one in which they look to win and rebound from the last two fourth quarter losses in a row to the Panthers and Buccaneers.

However, they will be facing an Eagles team who have been very potent so far on offense and a defense coming of nine sacks, three turnovers, and a safety in last weeks game versus the Steelers. The saving grace for the Bears is that many of the Eagles starters are banged up and they only put up 15 points against the Steelers.

Eagles QB Donovan McNabb and RB Brian Westbrook missed some practice time this week with a chest injury and an ankle injury and that may be a good chance for the Bears defense to continue starting games strong, but also the opportunity to finish it out as well.

The Eagles offense are at the top of the NFL in points scored, total yards and pass yards, but are still having trouble establishing the run game. Do not expect that to change for the Eagles in this one due to the Bears defense being ranked fifth in the NFL against the run allowing only 71.3 yards per game on the ground.

The key for the Eagles to win this one will be McNabb. The Bears are 28th against the pass this season with the Eagles in the top five passing the ball. If McNabb struggles early on, expect it to be a long night for the Eagles on offense.

This game will be a true test for the Bears offense and in particular rookie RB Matt Forte, who through the first three games is number two in the NFL in total yards from scrimmage (409) and fourth in rushing yards (304). The Eagles are number one in the league against the run allowing only 45.7 yards a game.

Key injuries for the Bears are WRs Brandon Lloyd (hip) and Devin Hester (rib), both missed some practice this week. Lloyd has established himself as QB Kyle Ortons' go to guy. So far this season he has 13 catches for 234 yards and one TD, which is 15th in the league. Hester has not established himself as a receiver yet this year nor has he got his return game going, but could break out at any time.

With the injuries on both sides of the ball, this game will come down to a defensive battle. If you go by what the teams have done so far, the Bears would be the losing team. However, I would expect the coaching staff to have made some changes to fix the Bears defense's late game collapses. Sadly I still have to say the Eagles will come out on top in the end with a score of 21-17.
