Colorado Eagles: Assistant Coach Strips Down In Fit Of Anger
Colorado Eagles Assistant Coach Greg Pankewicz Can't Handle Heat Throws Off Suit
If you happen to be in the Loveland area, you might be lost. But that is not a bad situation to find yourself in. You can easily find the only big building in Loveland, that's where minor league hockey team the Colorado Eagles play.
That is also where assistant coach Greg Pankewicz strips in his off time. Okay, it may not be his off-time. But he is so adept at stripping that it is a borderline secondary income source.
The Eagles were taking on the Mississippi River Kings in a match-up that you could not pay me in hot dogs to go see.
But on one night, I wish I had. Kings linesman Chris Wilson tackled Joe Grimaldi after a scuffle broke out on the ice. The play came with four and a half minutes gone in the third.
That is an important fact because I think Pankewicz at some point said, to hell with it, this game is almost over anyway.
After the Wilson tackle, the assistant coach was besides himself. He did not have anyone nearby worth punching int he face, so he just started tearing off his clothes like a lame version of the Hulk.
When he was done with the shirt and tie and jacket, the man started littering the ice with his shoes. It is safe to say that this man is my new hero and minor league hockey is now on my radar.
