Deron Williams will take his talents to the rebuilding New Jersey Nets.

The Utah Jazz have reportedly traded their best player and leader—Deron Williams to the New Jersey Nets for rookie Derrick Favors, veteran Devin Harris and two first round picks.

The third team involved, the Golden State Warriors will send Dan Gadzuric to the Nets in exchange for Troy Murphy.

Deron Williams has been linked to the recent departure of head coach Jerry Sloan, who had been the longest active tenured coach with the same team in North American professional sports. Perhaps his role in Sloan's fallout upset the Utah front office.

The often-injured Devin Harris has been disappointing over the past few seasons in New Jersey, but still has the talent to be a productive starting point guard, especially now that he has some talent around him.

Troy Murphy was in Avery Johnson's doghouse for the entire season. A move to the Golden State should revive the veteran's career.

Fantasy Impact

Devin Harris should get a slight boost in fantasy value, as the frontcourt of Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson should result in some easy assists and open shots.

Deron Williams will run an offense with limited firepower. Expect a lot of pick and roll plays between Williams and Brook Lopez.  Deron is too good of a player to have much of a drop in stats. He should continue to be a top tier fantasy player.

Troy Murphy will likely come off the bench for the Warriors, but could play starter minutes if Andris Biedrins continues to disappoint. He should become a solid source of three-pointers and rebounds.

Derrick Favors is the biggest loser in the trade as he will most certainly come off the bench with Millsap and Jefferson starting at the power forward and center spots.
