It has finally happened. Carmelo Anthony is a New York Knick.
According to the Denver Post, The New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets have finally agreed to a multi-player deal.
The deal is as follows:
Denver Receives:
- Raymond Felton
- Wilson Chandler
- Danilo Gallinari
- Timofey Mozgov
- Knicks' 2014 first-round pick
- Warriors' 2012 first-round pick
- Warriors 2013 first-round pick
New York Receives:
- Carmelo Anthony
- Chauncey Billups
- Sheldon Williams
- Anthony Carter
- Renaldo Balkman
- COREY BREWER
Minnesota Receives:
- Eddy Curry
- Anthony Randolph
All I will say right now is: CARMELO ANTHONY IS A FREAKIN’ NEW YORK KNICK!!!
I was a bit eh-eh on this deal, then I found out about Brewer. Now I love this trade!
The New York Knicks now have two players that are top six in the league in scoring. Their defense may have dropped a little, but their offense has sky-rocketed.
