Deron Williams To Knicks? Tells Associates He'd Like To Play In NYC

Utah Jazz star point guard Deron Williams is the latest is a string of big-name players who have expressed interest in joining the 2012 New York Knicks.

Williams allegedly told associates that if Amar'e Stoudemire went to New York, he would like to follow when he becomes a free agent following the 2012 season. Williams has a player option for 2012/2013 season.

Williams could join a lineup that would feature Stoudemire and potentially Carmelo Anthony. It has also been rumored that Chris Paul and Dwight Howard could find their way to New York.

As of now, the Knicks would only have $19.9 million of guaranteed salary for the 2012/2013 season.
