WWE Elimination Chamber Predictions: Miz/Lawler, Kingston/Del Rio and More
WWE Elimination Chamber is just hours away (but you already knew that), and while WrestleMania implications abound, the outcome of almost every match seems relatively academic—I think.
Single's Match: Alberto Del Rio over Kofi Kingston. But don't be 100 percent certain that Del Rio will go over just because he has a WrestleMania match waiting for him. WWE has shown that they already have enough confidence in Del Rio to afford a job here and there, and Kofi Kingston is dangerously close to getting lost in the shuffle despite being an Intercontinental Champion.
Tag Team Championship: Santino Marella and Vladimir Koslov over The Corre (Gabriel and Slater). Something tells me Koslov and Santino will have the tag team titles for a while, and their two-man comedy bit actually makes the tag titles more interesting than they would ever be if the watered-down Nexus that is the Corre held them hostage.
WWE Championship: The Miz over Jerry Lawler by pinfall. Love him or hate him, and as bad as the new age commentary has been, I simply cannot wait for Michael Cole on commentary for this match. Think obnoxiousness at the height of an orgasm—that's Michael Cole tonight during Miz v. Lawler. I fully expect Cole to get involved in this match, prompting a possible showdown at WrestleMania between either Lawler and Cole, or maybe a handicapped match featuring Cole and Riley vs. Lawler.
RAW Elimination Chamber: John Cena over the field. John Cena and Miz are on a collision course to WrestleMania, and although we've seen this before, this feud has the potentially to be brilliantly done as it dates back to the beginning of Miz's singles push during 2009. The rest of the field either already has a dancing partner at Mania (Punk, Orton, Sheamus?) or isn't quite ready for the main event spotlight that WrestelMania brings (Morrison, Truth).
SmackDown! Elimination Chamber: Edge over the field. Edge retains to continue his feud with Del Rio, and while you shouldn't be surprised if there is a Christian sighting, you shouldn't be too excited either if you're a Christian fan because he will likely do the job earlier than late.
