The Pittsburgh Steelers Will Have To Make Some Bold Moves In This Year's Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers need to get Mike Pouncey out of this draft. To do that, the Steelers probably are going to have to trade up.

The Steelers have the 31st Pick in the draft, meaning there are a lot of teams ahead of them who are going to want offensive lineman. Pouncey is projected to go between the 20th and the 25th pick.

The Steelers best option is to try and trade up, probably with the New England Patriots. Bill Belichick never met a first-round pick he wasn't willing to trade away, and that would jump the Steelers ahead of the Giants, one of the teams who might take Pouncey ahead of the Steelers.

Nate Solder is the top-rated offensive lineman at the moment, and he could go to the Lions with the 13th pick. If the Lions pass, then the Steelers can wait.

Trading up most likely will cost them their second round pick, which means they'll have to wait until the third round to draft again. The Steelers should take a cornerback with that pick, and the rest of the draft is just trying to find more depth and hoping to find some diamonds in the rough.
