Does Marvin Lewis Want To Be Fired?

Zane DanielsCorrespondent ISeptember 24, 2008

When Marvin Lewis was asked Wednesday at his afternoon press conference what effect Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns would have on his future as the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals, his response...."None." He also went on to say that he would not "Lose any sleep over it" even it did.

I'll admit, I have been a long time Marvin Lewis supporter but I've got to be honest, the more I hear him speak the more I can't wait until the day he is fired. His arrogance is absolutely unacceptable for a coach that has the type of talent he on the offensive side of the ball and only lead his team to the playoffs ONE time since his arrival. He treats the media and fans as though they are ignorant and could never comprehend the "complexities" of the game of football. However, it is his record that shows that it is HE who should worry about comprehending the game of football!
