OJ Simpson Laughs Off Tabloid Report That He Was Beaten Unconscious in Prison.

O.J. Simpson, currently serving a 33-year prison term for armed robbery, was recently reported by the National Enquirer to be beaten to a "bloody pulp" by a "skinhead" after bragging about his "sexual conquests with beautiful white women."

Seems like a rather unnecessary reason to be beaten unconscious.

However, this same report has since been discredited by many, including a prison official and Simpson himself.

According to TMZ, Simpson "laughed his ass off" when told of the news by a prison guard.

A prison official called the report "totally bogus."

And prison officials have actually called Simpson a well-to-do citizen while serving his time at Nevada's Lovelock Correctional Center.

Via AOL:

Lovelock spokesman Steve Suwe told Surge Desk, "None of that happened. We've talked to him, we know where he's at, he's physically fine." He added that Simpson "just does his time. He's not a big issue for us and the inmates."

Good to know.

If only Simpson was well-behaved outside prison.

That way, he could have still been a popular figure and would have avoided that merciless "beating" by that "skinhead."

He also wouldn't have been subjected to apparently false reports by a national tabloid.

And we thought we'd heard the last of O.J.

Not in this world.
