B/R Top25 Illinois Comments Week Five
Phil Aiello No.18
Who doesn't love Juice (no pun intended)? Arrelious Benn ain't too bad either. This team was playing with Mizzou and is capable of challenging for the Big-10 title if juice and company can stay consistent. The defense needs to step it up a notch once conference play rolls around this weekend or the Illini could get bounced out of here as quickly as they came in.

It should be a shootout at Penn State this week. Juice Williams is vastly improved.

Penn State will have their way with the Fighting Illini.

Looks like the Illini are not a one year fluke
David Morgan No.20
The Juice is loose, now if they only had a defense.

They had the week off to get ready for the Happy Valley trip. Juice Williams has looked outstanding this year throwing the ball. If they can find a stable running game, look out.

Ryan Williams No.21

Eric Josephson No.21
The Juice is loose? No, you saw it versus Missouri. Illinois is a one and done team.

PSU up next. Can they handle the Happy Valley pressure?

Nice offense. Bad defense.

Need a real good game to see if they can win a real good game.

Big game at Penn State.
John Scott No.22
Ryan Staab No.22
The Illini could potentially be on the brink of a losing record after facing Penn State and Michigan on the road the next two weeks.
Tracy Robbins No.22
The Illini face another tough road game at Penn St this week.
Michael Gonzalez No.22
Rob Fox No.22
People who rag on the Big Ten (even though it is down) should probably turn their heads away from Michigan and Ohio State (as if that's possible) and watch Penn State, Wisconsin, and this really really talented Illini squad.
Michael Cline No.22
Jared Reback No.23
Still not sure what to think about these guys, but the game against Penn State will answer that one.
evan brugger No.23
Illinois looked good against Missouri, but Louisiana-Something really raised some skepticism for me about them. They are still contenders in the Big Ten, and the Penn State game will speak volumes what this team is worth.
Michael Shibley No.23
Looks like Juice Williams needs Mendanhall a little more than he thought.
miamimitchdotcom No.23
It's a make or break week for them. Their fate will be decided Saturday Night.
Ron Johnson No.23
No Rashard Mendenall? In Illinois' eyes, that's no problem.
Lev Facher No.23
Joseph Morgan No.23
If Ron Zook and Illinois want to win the Big Ten, it all starts this weekend when they play Penn State at Beaver Stadium.
Toby Parker No.23
They can make a leap up the rankings if they take out Penn State this weekend...
Alex Ferguson No.24
Kristofer Green No.24
Billy Williamson No.24
Chad Haynie No.24
Tough test heading into Happy Valley next week.
John O'Dell No.24
Illinois is a team hard to figure out. They lost rather convincingly to Missouri and then throttled Eastern Illinois. After a 20-17 victory over lowly Louisiana-Lafayette, what are we to make of Illinois? Williams and Dufrene need to make a statement and put an end to the Nittany Lions' run in order to establish the Illini at the top of the Big Ten.
Matthew Smith No.24
J.C. Hagan No.24
Jason Hackney No.24
Illinois has a chance to prove they belong higher than this when they take on the cupcake killers of Penn State!
Jeremiah Coggins No.24
Ron Zook's Illini team is on the verge of breaking out, but they are need of a Chase Daniels type entity at QB. Zook wasn't right for Florida, but he's certainly the right pick to be competitive in the Big Ten and honestly what else can Illinois really expect.
