Chad Haynie No.15
After being slaughtered in their season opener, Clemson has looked very sharp ever since. They still determine their own destiny and still might win the ACC.

Chris Sielicki No.17
Great skill position players. Not physical enough on either line to challenge the top 10

Billy Williamson No.17

Nate Stafford No.17
They haven't exactly been impressive this season, but the loss to Alabama doesn't look AS bad as long as Bama keeps winning. First true test since the meltdown in Atlanta this week against Maryland. The Maryland offense has been on fire the last two weeks.

An amazing run game that I don't think will ever live up to its potential.

Maybe Tommy Bowden is trying to see what he can get away without getting fired

Ryan Staab No.19
Maryland isn’t a team to be taken lightly, but at least Clemson is the home team.

John O'Dell No.19
Fact: the ACC is not the conference it used to be. However, this does not mean that Clemson is not a team to be reckoned with. The Alabama loss made many question Clemson but perhaps that game was more of a statement about Alabama's ability rather than an indictment of the Tigers. Clemson's upcoming game with Wake Forest in October will answer all doubts one way or the other.

Colin Clark No.19
I happen to believe that the Alabama game was an anomaly, this is a good football team. Unless they choke, again.

Phil Aiello No.19
Where would this team rank if they just had an offensive line? All Tommy Bowden wants for Christmas is a couple of heavyweights. Will someone please give him Rosie O'Donnell's number? Please?

Jeremiah Coggins No.19
Sitting at 3-1 and their only loss to a stacked Alabama team, Clemson should be higher probably. The problem is that my ranking might have them lower because I know they'll be a factor in the ACC standings but that will be about it.

They sure can beat up on those FCS opponents can't they?

I still don't believe in Clemson being the best of the ACC, but I think they've come back well from the opening debacle against Alabama.

Jim Sheldon No.20
Might be finding their groove

Ryan Bower No.20

Tracy Robbins No.20
The Tigers seem to have rebounded from the opening weekend thrashing from Alabama.

Will Devlin No.20

Jason Hackney No.20
The tigers are out to prove that the first game was just nerves. They can still win a BCS spot winning the ACC.

The Tigers have a huge game against Wake Forest in two weeks. Tommy Bowden needs to make sure they don't overlook Maryland.

Improving week to week. Schedule gets tougher in October.

Wesley Marshall No.21

Ben Lee No.21
We still don't really know how good they are. Their game in 2 weeks against Wake Forst will be a good barometer.

andrew johnston No.21

Rob Fox No.21
Clemson is just one of a bunch of ACC teams not living up to their potential. If they lose to Maryland or Wake Forest Bowden needs to go.

Burton DeWitt No.22

Jared Reback No.22
I know, Clemson looks like it is back, but really against token resistance. They need to do it against Maryland and Wake Forest to convince me.

Lisa Horne No.22
The team's O finally showed up against an FCS team, so now I don't know what to think of them.

Ron Johnson No.22
The Tigers have quietly moved into contention for the ACC Title. But can they keep up the momentum for the duration of the season?

Adam Lindemer No.22
I'm still amazed by that 54-0 beat down on South Carolina State.

They need to handle up on Maryland to get back into my Top 20.

Some confidence and moment is just what the Tigers needed heading into conference play. They're talent is better than their ranking still.

Scott Pusich No.22
(previous: 22) Just can't rank Clemson ahead of Oregon. Just can't. For starters, South Carolina State is no South Carolina. Second... the ACC is no Pac... uh, scratch that. Oh well, consider Oregon and Clemson tied at No.21, if that were allowed in this poll (HINT HINT!) 5th-highest ranked team with a defeat (3-1).
