(previous: 12) Either the Utes or Missouri here. The Utes played in conference, @ an always-scrappy Air Force, and won. Missouri got to fax in another pounding at home against the Buffalo Bills... uh, Bulls. Utes get the nod.

Brigham Young and Utah undefeated. Maybe a religion that opposes drinking is a positive thing for football players.

If they beat BYU they're BCS bound. Don't ever let it be said I was the last on board.
Jonathan Lintner No.14
Lisa Horne No.14
That holy war rivalry game is starting to become more and more important.
David Rung No.15
Adam Lindemer No.15
4-0 out of the Mountain West just like BYU; now let's just see if they can continue the winning ways and really throw off the BCS standings.
Jayson Stock No.15
Utah has some great wins so far and two good wins on the road.
Ezekiel Fuhrman No.15
Ryan Staab No.15
Neither Utah nor Brigham Young should have any problems with their schedules, and their November 22 match-up will determine once and for all who will be this year’s BCS buster.
tom scurlock No.15
Clark Nelson No.15
Mosang Miles No.15
Dan Alexandre No.15
Jared Reback No.16
Utah beat a good Air Force team this week. The MWC will be a fun conference to watch from here on out.
Chris Sielicki No.16
Possible BCS buster.
Michael Devivero No.16
Billy Williamson No.16
Ryan Williams No.16
Don Bradner No.16
Mostly easy schedule keeps the Utes comfortably in the rankings.
Rob Fox No.16
Utah beat a tough Air Force team on the road. The MWC looks awesome so far this year the Utes are a huge part of it. Next week against Weber State is a gimme.
andrew johnston No.16
Jon Lunceford No.16
Will Shelton No.16
Still alive in the hunt for the BCS...
Will Devlin No.16
Nick Shepkowski No.16
Michael Shibley No.17
The Utes have taken care of one of their rivals already. Now the rest of the Mountain West awaits.
Ron Johnson No.17
The Utes survived a shootout with Air Force last weekend, and they are keeping in step with BYU. They've got the talent, but do they have the durability?
Lev Facher No.17
BeachBum Chris No.17
They play football in Utah? Yes! And the Utes are beating some decent teams and getting noticed. Mountain West title will come down to November 22nd game against BYU.
Mitchell Morse No.17
Joseph Morgan No.17
The Utes squeak by Air Force to keep their BCS-buster hopes intact.
Scott Glesner No.17
College Football Fanatic No.17
Now that ECU is probably out of the picture, the game with BYU on Nov. 22 is just looking bigger and bigger. Probably by the time the game comes around, both these teams could be in the Top 10 (saying that both come into that game without a loss) and BYU could even be in the Top Five.
Jim Sheldon No.17
Barely beat pesky Air Force
Ryan Bower No.17
John Scott No.17
Tracy Robbins No.17
The Runnin' Utes look to have a date with destiny and the BYU Cougars.
Wesley Marshall No.17
Colin Clark No.17
That Michigan win is not looking so good now... but that UNLV win is looking better by the day.
RedRaider Red No.17
Brook Bristow No.17
Phil Aiello No.17
Why do I have Utah in the top 25? They have beaten nobody of note and don't play a real team until TCU on November 6th!?!? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Michael Cline No.17
Trey Bradley No.17
3 road wins. 4-0 overall. Impressive no matter who the opposition is.

On cruise control until November
Nate Stafford No.18
Took care of a pesky Air Force team last week and get to take it easy this week against Weber State (FCS Opponent). Possible BCS buster? Possibly. That November 22nd date will be looming large for the Utes and BYU as it could not only decide who wins the MWC, but who goes to a BCS bowl game.
Mike Vorkunov No.18
If only Alex Smith was having as good a year
John O'Dell No.18
Utah has been a solid team for a number of years now and this season is no exception. While Utah fields a quality team with a fantastic rushing attack, the Utes are not of the same caliber as BYU.
Ben Lee No.18
Very nice win at Air Force, a better team than people think. Their matchup against BYU at the end of the year could be huge.
Chad Haynie No.18
Utah played a close game against a decent Air Force squad.
Alex Farrer No.18
Toby Parker No.18
Can they keep on winning to set up the end of the year BCS Busters Bowl with BYU?
Matthew Smith No.18
Stuart Whitehair No.18
Jeremiah Coggins No.18
Sitting at 4-0 and beating Michigan in week one really should have them above BYU in my No.17 spot. However the fact that the rest of their schedule is about the equivalent of a division III schedule doesn't really speak to me sincerely. They'll even probably end up losing one of those, and everyone will forget that 'sleeper' title they're holding onto so dearly.
Burton DeWitt No.19
Michael Lemaire No.19
Jason Hackney No.19
Again, an interesting year with three Mountain West teams ranked. We'll see how it plays out.
Brian Evans No.20
Kenneth Julian III No.20
Forget the Michigan game with all the penalties and dropped interceptions, this Air Force game was their best win. And showed they can make the plays at the end of the game to win.
J.C. Hagan No.20
Justin Goar No.21
Utah has a pretty easy schedule and should move up the ranks as the season goes on.
Eric Josephson No.22
There will be no BCS busters this year. Utah will lose one too.
David Morgan No.22
Not quite sold yet even after beating such an awesome Michigan team, Ha ha
