Michael Gonzalez No.2
best team in Austin

Mark Carmean No.4

Scientizzle FoShizzle No.4

Wesley Marshall No.5
What comes into Austin from the East this week doesn't look to be nearly as formidable as what blew in from the Southeast 2 weeks ago.

Matt Wright No.6

Kenneth Julian III No.6
This team keeps on winning by beating the team they are supposed to with cold efficiency. They refuse to be stopped on offense, and Colt McCoy is having the season of his career.

Peter R No.6
Challenging Oklaoma

miamimitchdotcom No.6
Hard to believe how little we're hearing about the Horns. Colt McCoy may be the most improved player in the country.

John O'Dell No.6
Like Oklahoma, the Longhorns position in the national picture will be clear in the next four weeks. The differences between the Missouri Tigers, the Sooners and the Longhorns is minimal at best. While the SEC is still the cream of the crop, as the Big XII begins to shake out, one of these teams will separate from the pack and position themselves as a viable BCS championship threat.

Ryan Staab No.6
After playing three patsies, Texas should finally see some real competition against Arkansas next Saturday.

Dino No.6
Horns still an unknown, but Colt McCoy has the makings of a Heisman winner. Texas will opn some eyes down the road..

Scott Pusich No.6
(previous: 7) Dispatched Rice easily, as expected, and looking strong enough to challenge Oklahoma for the Big XII South. Plays the postponed (due to Ike) game against Arkansas next weekend; may try to outdo Alabama in the "style points" category by running up the score.

Lisa Horne No.6
The Horns have been consistent and two weeks to prep for the upstart Colorado Buffs.

Jared Reback No.7
If Colt McCoy played in any other conference right now, you would hear so much more about him. His stats this year have been as good as anyone not named Chase Daniel.

Chris Flanagan No.7

12 No.7
Texas will steamroll over Arkansas. If they get by Oklahoma, they could easily run the table.

Michael Lemaire No.7

Mitchell Morse No.7

Edward Leigh No.7

Dan Murphy No.7

Nate Stafford No.7
Another dismantling of an inferior opponent. Taking care of business thus far and looking strong doing so. Defense looks vastly improved from last year and Colt McCoy seems like he is making good decisions this year. Arkansas comes to town for the make-up game and they should score a lot of points.

Jayson Stock No.7
Can they get past OU?

Jim Sheldon No.7
Hook em' horns!

College Football Fanatic No.7
Colt McCoy is performing wonderfully. He shouldn't slow down at all next week against a sub-par Arkansas team.

John Scott No.7

Tracy Robbins No.7
Texas has looked good so far this year, lets see how they do once they really get into conference play.

Don Bradner No.7
A sure fire top ten team ...... as long as they beat the razorbacks.

Mike Vorkunov No.7
The Big 12 is stacked this year so Colt McCoy has some work to do getting up the ladder

Rob Fox No.7
At the beginning of the year Chase Daniel said he thought the second best QB in the Big 12 was his good friend Colt McCoy. A lot of people just thought he was being nice to his buddy, now it looks like he may be right.

Jon Lunceford No.7

Toby Parker No.7
Here for now, will they still be in the Top 10 after the Red River Shootout in a few weeks??

andrew johnston No.7

Eric Josephson No.7
Colt McCoy might have finally grown up. Too bad they're the third best team in the Big 12.

Clark Nelson No.7

RedRaider Red No.7

Justin Goar No.7
Last week they had Rice, this week comes the pork. UT looking to feast on the Razorbacks this week.

Matthew Smith No.7

BeachBum Chris No.7
Thought this team was ranked to high in the preseason rankings but they are showing why they are a top 10 team. Offense is scoring heavy and Colt McCoy could become a Heisman candidate but it's the defense of the Longhorns that leads this team.

Chase Davis No.7

Michael Shibley No.7
The Longhorns are a darn good team and no one is talking about them in the Big 12.

Tim Pollock No.7

Ron Johnson No.8
The Horns know that Oklahoma and Missouri are in their rear view mirror. But can Colt McCoy lead the Horns back to the Big 12 Promise Land?

Chris Sielicki No.8
This team is a year ahead of schedule and putting together solid wins.

Jesse Monday No.8
The only team in the top 10 noone is talking about. Keep up the good work and mayeb someone will have somehtign to say.

Adam Lindemer No.8
The Big 12 is trying to dethrone the SEC for best conference in the land. The Longhorns know how to find the endzone.

Michael Devivero No.8

Billy Williamson No.8

Ezekiel Fuhrman No.8

Lev Facher No.8

David Morgan No.8
Look pretty good at beginning of season, but a tough Big 12 schedule will be their downfall

Chad Haynie No.8

Alex Farrer No.8

Jimson Cuenta No.8

Dan Alexandre No.8

Phil Aiello No.8
Colt McCoy is having a great year and Texas is again loaded up front. Come on Red River Shootout!

Trey Bradley No.8
Colt's running ability is all the buzz this week.

Hector Aleandro No.8

Will Shelton No.8
You'll have to wait for Oklahoma to find out how good this team really is.

Michael Cline No.8

Scott Glesner No.8

Burgess Shaw No.8
Haven't been tested...yet!

Brian Evans No.9
Texas is playing good football so far. Another easy game against Arkansas is on deck.

Dan Boss No.9

Kristofer Green No.9

Isaac Elyacharshuster No.9

Joseph Morgan No.9
The Longhorns face Arkansas in a game re-scheduled due to Hurricane Ike.

Ryan Bower No.9

tom scurlock No.9

Brook Bristow No.9

Will Devlin No.9

J.C. Hagan No.9

Jason Hackney No.9
Good year to be a Texas football team, except A&M.

Stuart Whitehair No.9
Colorado, Oklahoma, and Missouri after non-conference snooze fest.

Nick Shepkowski No.9

Alex Ferguson No.10

David Rung No.10

Steve Moreau No.10

Ben Lee No.10
Somehow, they have flown under the radar. We'll know how good they are when they face Oklahoma in 2 weeks.

Jonathan Lintner No.10
Texas has looked as dominant as any team in the nation so far. Will they hold up in a strong Big 12?

Brad Shipley No.10

Chad Bradbury No.10

Burton DeWitt No.10

Ryan Williams No.11

Mosang Miles No.13

Jeremiah Coggins No.13
A 3-0 Longhorn program under Mack Brown is usual, but they have yet to play anyone respected. Their AP ranking is way overrated in my opinion as their judging past years. Look for Texas to get embarassed in the Big 12 Championship by Oklahoma, that is if Kansas or Texas Tech doesn't beat them to get there.

Colin Clark No.14
Yup, I know. They are going to be higher on most people's lists. I do not think they will beat Oklahoma, Missouri or Texas Tech. They aren't that good, or I won't admit that they are, until they play somebody.
