B/R Top25 Florida Comments Week 5
RedRaider Red No.1
miamimitchdotcom No.2
Whooping up on rivals makes a pretty big statement.
Hector Aleandro No.2
Scott Pusich No.2
(previous: 2) Almost got rewarded with the No.1 spot for their impressive win in Knoxville. The Gators were unlucky not to have the shutout. This is the team that looks most capable right now of challenging the Trojans.
Jeremiah Coggins No.2
Played really well so far, and won't play anyone till 10/11.
Jesse Monday No.3
Offense and Deffense it is a new concept but quite effective for this Florida team.
Joseph Morgan No.3
The Gators dominate Tennessee in convincing fashion and may have the easiest road to Atlanta in the SEC East.
Justin Thomas No.3
Biased it may seem but Florida is better than Georgia. Though the Bulldogs started off No.1, Florida has played more convincingly than they have and had tougher opponents.
Ezekiel Fuhrman No.3
Ryan Williams No.3
John O'Dell No.3
Florida has made an amazing statement with three convincing wins over quality competition. A balanced offense and a dominating defense have made the Gators a team to be feared in the SEC.
Ryan Staab No.3
Can anyone stop the Gators?
Scientizzle FoShizzle No.3
Wesley Marshall No.3
A strong victory over an ailing conference opponent never hurt a team.
Chad Haynie No.3
Toby Parker No.3
I decided that I think the top 3 SEC teams are even right now, so I'll just go in alphabetical order this week.
Mosang Miles No.3
Brook Bristow No.3
Phil Aiello No.3
Tebow alone makes Florida a top five team...now they have Harvin back and plenty of speed at the skill positions. If the defense plays well look out for the gators.
Will Chambers No.3
Urban Meyer one step ahead of Fuhlmer and Vols once again
Michael Shibley No.3
The Gators made the Vols look pitiful even with Tebow being a minor factor. Looks like they can win with defense and special teams.
Chad Bradbury No.3
Needs to play a full 4 quarter game. And soon.
Tim Pollock No.3
Ron Johnson No.3
The Gators showed that Defense Wins Championships...but a little Offense Never Hurt. Florida is now back where they were last year with their first conference win of the season. Now they got a date with LSU on the horizon.
Jared Reback No.3
They really spanked Tennessee on the road. The Gators and Georgia I feel are almost interchangeable at this position right now and this spot could see-saw.
Adam Lindemer No.4
Passing every test thrown at them so far. The team to beat in the SEC.
Alex Ferguson No.4
12 No.4
Tebow has delegated the responsibility, thus making the Gators less predictable.
Michael Lemaire No.4
Dan Murphy No.4
Florida's defense is keeping Tebow and Harvin's stats down by shrtening the field.
Michael Devivero No.4

Steve Moreau No.4
Isaac Elyacharshuster No.4
Jayson Stock No.4
The Gators have looked very impressive against quality opponents.
Jim Sheldon No.4
Whupped ol Rocky Top.
Ryan Bower No.4
Tim Tebow is perhaps on his way to a second Heisman and Percy Harvin is a difference maker. A lead running back needs to emerge and the defense still has questions, but a 30-6 win at Tennessee was huge.
College Football Fanatic No.4
The Gators weren't dominant against the Tennessee Vols on Saturday, and if you change three plays the game could've just as easily been 30-27 or even a score in favor of the Vols. But UT made so many mistakes that it was an easy game for UF.
David Morgan No.4
Look good now, but SEC will eat them alive
John Scott No.4
Tracy Robbins No.4
Big win over a rival on the road and the Tebow legend just gets bigger.
Garrett Spain No.4
tom scurlock No.4
Jon Lunceford No.4
Eric Josephson No.4
They rolled Tennessee... but I'm pretty sure MTSU could beat them now.
Alex Farrer No.4
Brad Shipley No.4
Justin Goar No.4
The Gators roll against Tenn., get the Rebs next week.
Jimson Cuenta No.4
Dan Alexandre No.4
Trey Bradley No.4
Has there ever been anyone better than Urban Meyer in rivalry games?
Matthew Smith No.4
Will Shelton No.4
Is Tennessee any good? Is Florida great?
Michael Cline No.4
Burton DeWitt No.4
Burgess Shaw No.4
Good game vs. Florida, should take Ole Miss out easily this week.
Nick Shepkowski No.4
Chase Davis No.4
Dan Boss No.5
Matt Wright No.5
Kenneth Julian III No.5
They are really starting to come together one more defensive performance like that and you would have to move them up. All this considering the offense is not working at full potential.
Lev Facher No.5
Billy Williamson No.5
They've looked impressive. I had a lot of trouble not putting this team ahead of Georgia.
Nate Stafford No.5
Beat Tennessee at Neyland Stadium last week, always impressive, but the Florida offense still hasn't started hitting on all cylinders yet. Ole Miss visits the swamp this week. Shouldn't be much of a problem.
Ben Lee No.5
Blew out Tennessee in Neyland Stadium. Their defense, despite allowing 6 points, gave up a ton of yards which is not promising.
Mike Vorkunov No.5
The team is more well-rounded this year so it doesn't have to be the Tim Tebow- show
Rob Fox No.5
Tim Tebow hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire this year. This however is a much more balanced Florida team that is as much of a threat as anyone else to win the SEC.
andrew johnston No.5
Jason Hackney No.5
Demolished Tennessee, in Tennessee. Good start to the SEC conference schedule they play.
Colin Clark No.5
Sadly, Tennessee is no Arizona State or Auburn.
Scott Garfinkel No.5
The defense and special teams have been spectacular. The offense will need to show up in games like LSU and Georgia
Clark Nelson No.5
Jonathan Lintner No.5
Florida trounced Tennessee to hold at number five.
Scott Glesner No.5
BeachBum Chris No.5
Somehow they have been quietly efficient. Normally beating Tennessee would be a big win but not this year. First big test is LSU at home on Oct 11.
Lisa Horne No.5
Impressive win by the Gators BUT I still haven't seen them bring their A-game- the Vols are very mediocre.
Stuart Whitehair No.5
Brian Evans No.5
Everyone is ooohing and ahhhing over the Gator's D. Did they watch the same game I watched on Saturday? UT is horrible. UT gave the Gators 14 pts. on turnovers. And the offense isn't clicking yet either.
Kristofer Green No.5
Chris Sielicki No.6
Dynamic offense and solid defense. Have not played a good team yet.
Chris Flanagan No.6
Mitchell Morse No.6
Don Bradner No.6
Florida is again solid. But look out, the Tigers will be visiting before too long.
J.C. Hagan No.6
David Rung No.7
Peter R No.7
Probably still over rated
Will Devlin No.7
Drew Silverthorn No.7
A fast team with a good quarterback that will give you fits. Preparing for this team defensively should at least require two weeks.
Edward Leigh No.8
Rob Steele No.19
