The inexperienced Arizona Wildcats will take on the Firery hot Arizona State Sun Devils, who are currently on a seven game winning streak, tonight at the Wells Fargo Center in Tempe.

Without Hall of Fame Head Coach Lute Olson, the Wildcats have gone 10-4 but lost their last game to Oregon 84-74, and a week before lost by 13 to the Memphis Tigers.

Early in the season, Arizona struggled to define a vocal leader—not one, but two emerged in freshman sensation Jerryd Baylessm and last year's Pac-10 Freshman of the Year Chase Budinger.

Unfortunately, Bayless went down with a sprained right knee in practice before the Memphis game, and is questionable to play in tonight's contest. Not only is this an important rivalry game, it is the begining of a four game road trip.

The Wildcats continue on to Houston and then to the Bay Area to take on the No. 23 Stanford Cardinal and the unranked Cal Bears. Zona will face stiff competition from their upstate rivals—Jeff Pendergraph has the highest field goal percentage in the Pac-10 at an amazing 68.4%.

This is an important game for both teams. The Wildcats hope to stay in the rankings and the Sun Devils will try to maintain their undefeated conference record.
