Pittsburgh Penguins New York Islanders Fight: Watch the Teams Square Off Again

"I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out."

Ah yes, it's a line that never gets old. At least, not if you're asking for my opinion anyway.

In any case, the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders got into another good one on Friday night. The Islanders were up 6-0 in the second period at the time, so I suppose they had to give the crowd some reason to stick around.

In any case, this latest fracas came just nine days after Pittsburgh's Brent Johnson knocked out New York  goalie Rick DiPietro with a single punch, leaving him with broken bones in his face. The Pens also won that game 3-0, so it suffices to say that the Islanders were looking to give them their comeuppance.

Making a name for himself in this scum was New York callup Micheal Haley, who got into it with Max Talbot and Johnson. The crowd fairly appreciated his effort, chanting his name every chance they got.

The Penguins are set to square off against the Rangers on Sunday, and things didn't get any easier for them today. The team bus got into an accident on the way to practice, and they had to resort to cabs to get them to Central Park for an afternoon practice session.
