Tonya Harding Is Expecting Her First Child With Husband Joseph Price

Tonya Harding, 42, is expecting her first child with her husband Joseph Price. Once one of the top figure skaters in the world, Harding has become a joke in recent years.

Harding's downfall started at the 1994 Olympics, when her then husband Jeff Gillooly and two other men attacked her rival Nancy Kerrigan during a practice session. Though she wasn't directly involved in the attack, she had knowledge of it and was banned from the United States Figure Skating Association as a result.

Her time in the spotlight wasn't over yet though. Fortunately, the world was given the gift of a sex tape featuring Harding and Gillooly on their wedding night. Not even horror master Wes Craven himself could have come up with a more terrifying concept for a movie.

Then, in the early 2000's she saw a career revival, of sorts. She turned to professional boxing after winning a fight against Paula Jones on the FOX show "Celebrity Boxing." Her career in the ring ended in 2004 after just six fights, and compiling a 3-3 record.

In 2004, she made a memorable appearance on Dan Patrick's national radio show when he was working for ESPN, saying "I'm not gonna make a skeptical out of my boxing career." That was one of the great soundbites in sports talk radio history.

But she has put all the nonsense behind her now, and she is ready to become a mother. I think I speak for all the world when I say that hopefully she doesn't make a "skeptical" of her new career as a mother.
