But what about the Green Bay Packers?
I'm a huge Packers fan—but to be honest, the 13-3 record they compiled this year was an absolute shock.
My outlook on the season was 6-10—maybe 7-9. But Brett Favre (who should have been league MVP) managed to lead a group of young boys to the promised land of the playoffs.
Now those young boys are young MEN.
Sure, the Pack have former Pro Bowlers Nick Barnett and Charles Woodson on defense, but what do they have on offense?
Green Bay didn't find a running back until Week 12, when Ryan Grant established himself. Donald Driver, meanwhile, was a third receiver at best as recently as a few seasons ago—but being able to run the slant route has made him a No. 1 option for the Pack, and probably most teams in the NFL.
When you stack Green Bay against the NFC, the only problem they run into is Dallas. But if Terrell Owens doesn't play on Sunday, the New York Giants may well be coming to Lambeau Field for the NFC Championship game.
In the AFC, I see Jacksonville pulling off what will be considered an upset—even though it isn't—over those damn Patriots. Then the Jags will roll into Indy and beat the pants off the overrated Colts.
With no Marvin Harrison, the Jags D stacks up well.
So here's my Super Bowl prediction: the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Green Bay Packers in Glendale, in Brett Favre's last game.
The vet will go out like all Legends of the game should—as a CHAMPION.
