The preseason has already begun, and the Florida Panthers are back on the prowl. The Panthers will take on the Calgary Flames in the first game of Florida's preseason.

Florida's revamped defense will be relied on to keep superstar Jarome Iginla in check. Players like Michael Cammalleri and Daymond Langkow will also have to be covered tightly to ensure a win for the Panthers.
The matchup to watch for in this game may be the battle between two stellar goaltenders—Tomas Vokoun and Miikka Kiprusoff. The former All-Stars will keep their teams in this game and will not give up many goals.
These two teams should make for a close, exciting game filled with both physical and finesse play. This game may not mean much—but you better believe both teams will be playing like it means everything. Let's drop the puck.
