Have you ever wanted to know what milestones your favorite players could reach in the near future?  This list will tell you how many games left that they have to reach a historic day in their career, what teams they are predicted to break it against, and on what day it will happen.  I have arranged each team by alphabetic order by league that they play in.  I have also picked one player from each team.

American League:

Baltimore Orioles:  Jay Payton is currently on pace to reach 200 doubles on 7/10/09 against the Toronto Blue Jays.  He currently has 189 career doubles.

Boston Red Sox:  David Ortiz needs twelve home runs to get to 300 for his career.  He should reach this feat on 5/28/09 against the Minnesota Twins.  He currently has 288 long balls for his career.

Chicago White Sox:  Ken Griffey Jr.  needs only one more home run to get to 610 and becoming 5th on the all time home run list.  He should complete this amazing feat before this season is over on 9/28/08 against the Cleveland Indians.  He now has 609 home runs for his career.

Cleveland Indians:  Travis Hafner  needs 29 more doubles to get to 200 for his career.  He should get this done by 9/28/09 against the Chicago White Sox.  He now has 171 career doubles.

Detroit Tigers:  Gary Sheffield should reach the historic 500 Home run club on 4/17/09 against the Seatle Mariners.  He currently has 497 career home runs.

Kansas City Royals:  Mark Grudzielanek should reach 7000 at bats on 4/15/09 against the Cleveland Indians.  He currently has 6942 career at bats.

LA Angels of Anaheim:  Vladimir Guerrero should reach 400 home runs passing Al Kaline for 43rd all time on 6/03/09 against the Toronto Blue Jays.  He now currently has 389 career home runs.

Minnesota Twins:  None

New York Yankees:  Alex Rodriguez should reach 570 career home runs on 6/01/09 against the Cleveland Indians.  This home run would make him 10th on the home run list passing Rafael Palmero.  He currently has 553 career home runs.

Oakland Athletics:  Frank Thomas needs 28 home runs to pass Mike Schmidt as 12th all time.  He should hit his 549th home run sometime next season.  He currently has 521 all time home runs.

Seatle Mariners:  Ichiro needs 5 more doubles to be part of the 200 doubles club.  He should get his 200th double on 5/10/09 against the Minnesota Twins.  He currently has 195 doubles for his career.

Tampa Bay Rays:  Cliff Floyd should reach 1,500 career hit on 4/29/09 against the Minnesota Twins.  He currently stands at 1476 hits for his career.

Texas Rangers:  Hank Blalock should reach 200 doubles for his career on 8/02/09 against the Seatle Mariners.  He currently has 171 for his career.
