Redskins Cardinals fourth quarter

14:55—Not a great punt by Brooks, but good for 35 and no return.

13:34—Another offside on Taylor buys Arizona a down. Instead of third and eight after a five-yard pass it's second and eight.

12:59—Who says that Rogers has no hands. A great pick after a nice tip by Torrence. Not a bad runback either, 42 yards.

12:10—The slip screen to Moss gets the TD. Just some great, vintage Moss, slippery running to pick his way into the end zone. Oh yeah, a lead escort from Randy Thomas to pave the winding path.

Moss 17 pass from Campbell (Suisham kick)
Redskins 24, Cardinals 17

That was a big-time play by Rogers, the play of the game if the Skins hang on here. I trust his detractors will take note.

I think the Redskins will need another score to win this game.

10:36—A coverage sack for a loss of six. Warner had nowhere to go and after about five seconds McIntosh nailed him.

10:01—Good stand by the defense after Arizona got into Redskins territory quickly. I'm not worried about the Redskins milking the clock here, they just need to score and put this one away.

8:38—A game-ending TD was nullified by a personal foul on Heyer. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

7:54—Campbell to Moss for 20 gets a first down after the first and 25. No problem.

6:26—The Redskins are snapping the ball with a good 8-10 seconds left on the play clock. If this comes down to the last second, remember that.

5:40—The Redskins are just grinding this one out.

4:00—After a third-down sack, the Redskins are on the edge of field goal range, it would be about 50 yards. I'd pooch punt it and try to pin them back.

Zorn disagrees, he's sending out Suisham.

3:29—It's wide left and the Cardinals have a shot.

2:46—Alexander bats down a second-down pass.

2:39—Fourth down and four, Arizona will punt. Two first downs will seal it as the Cardinals have two timeouts and the two-minute warning.

2:10—That's one of them. Portis runs for nine. Arizona let several seconds burn off before deciding to call the timeout. You have to know what you're going to do before the snap.

2:00—Second and seven and Arizona has no timeouts left.

Miami 38, New England 13, final. Just when you think you have it all figured out. . .

1:50—Zorn does it again. A pass when everyone thought it was a run to send the Redskins into victory formation.

Final Score
Redskins 24, Cardinals 14
