I'm glad i don't own Randy Moss.
When Tom Brady went down it wasn't just his owners and Patriots fans who were devastated by the injury, but Randy Moss owners, and to a lesser extent Wes Welker owners too. Unfortunately, if you own Randy Moss you're stuck with the dilemma of having to decide whether it's worth starting him week in and week out. Whether the chance that he explodes when you finally sit him is worth the 3-4 point weeks. Whether you're willing to trade him and take the chance that he gets better.
I don't think he's getting better. I don't think he's even worth a start right now. He still has value, and if you own him, it's time to explore your options. If I was able to move Moss for someone like Reggie Wayne or Brandon Marshall I'd jump all over it. Calvin Johnson had a sub par week as well...I'd move him for Calvin Johnson.
It's time for fantasy owners to come to the realization that the Pat's offense isn't in 2007 anymore. Cut off the head and the body will die.
Tom Brady was the head.
Is Ronnie Brown for real?
He's a very talented back. He showed that last year, and from here on out he should be the undisputed starter. That lining up as a QB isn't ever going to work like that again, so temper your expectations from here on out, and don't sell the farm for him. The Dolphins are still going to have trouble scoring.
Is Ted Ginn dead?
RB: Steven Jackson, Joe Addai
QB: Palmer, Hasselbeck, O'Sullivan
WR: Edwards, Houshmandzadeh
TE: Winslow, Clark
RB: Brown, Turner, L. Johnson, R. Bush
The value of each of these guys isn't going to get higher. Turner has had two huge games against two of the leagues worst teams at home, LJ is done(D-U-N) and Reggie Bush won't last. MOVE THEM. MOVE THEM ALL!
QB: Eli Manning
WR: Moss, Moss, Roddy White (I love him, but he's playing on a run heavy team with a rookie Q)
TE: There's so many decent TE's out there...
Temper your expectations for Miles Austin. He looked great Sunday night, but mostly he was just stealing TO's catches. That won't happen again. Expect their stat lines to go back to normal next week.
The Ram's, Lions and Chief's are the worst three teams in the league right now, and it's not even close.
Brian Griese is still Brian Griese.
J.T. O'Sullivan may have been playing against the Lions, but he's worth keeping on your radar. He still has four more games against NFC West foes. You can do allot worse then J.T. I was wrong about him.
I don't trust the Houston Texans at all, but anyone who runs for a $1.16 against Tennessee is going to get my attention. Pick up Steve Slaton if he's still available, but I wouldn't trade a starter for him. Be wary of the Texans. The offensive and defensive lines are bad (Which means they won't have the ball often) Schaub has happy feet, and Gary Kubiak is looking like a bad coach.
