Greetings all! I know that I am doing my Week 4 newsletter early, but this is when I am available to do it and send it out. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME YOUR PICKS UNTIL AFTER 12PM ET ON MONDAY, 9/22. Thanks! Miami shocked the Patriots 38-13 in Foxboro and the regular season winning streak ends at 21. Oddly enough, the last regular season loss for the Patriots was to the Dolphins on December 10, 2006. Anyways, I do have some news, but I will save that for the NEWS section. - B/R Ticket Guide
1. The Food & Wine Festival begins on September 26 and ends on November 9 at the World Showcase at Epcot. Yes, you do get to sample food and wine from all over the world.
2. Please make sure you help support my autism walk team on November 15 at the Wide World of Sports at WDW. You can do so by going on www.walknowforautism.org/orlandoand search for a walker and type in Mike DiMauro.
3. A nice couple, named Charles & Dorothy Paquette sent me a nice e-mail that I would like to share with all of you. Please help them if you can. Their e-mail address is dapaquette@aol.com. Here's the e-mail that they sent to me:
Hello Mike;
We are Charles and Dorothy Paquette, originally from Hampden County (I say this as we have lived in Springfield, Agawam, Feeding Hills, Longmeadow, Palmer, Westfield, Wilbraham and West Springfield), and now living in Venice, Florida.
We have a great-granddaughter in the third grade living in North Dakota. Her dad lived in the Boston area as a boy and is a great Patriots fan. Our problem is that Abbigail has a class project as "Flat Honeybun" which she has sent to us to send information of our area to her school. Her request is for us to forward "Flat Honeybun" to Massachusetts to the Patriots so that they would send information, etc., regarding the team to her class. As we do not know where to send this, we checked the Patriot's website, and saw a fan club in our former area.
If you would help us out, we will forward "Flat Honeybun" to you. We shall enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope for you to forward to my sister in Maine.
We have seven great-grandchildren in Minot, North Dakota and the oldest plays football in middle school. Sorry to say the team does not do too well but he loves the game and they have great team spirit.
