ESPN's NFL Live host Trey Wingo just tweeted that Mike Munchak has now been hired as the Tennessee Titans' new head coach.

Muchak played guard for the franchise when they were in Houston from 1982 to 1993.  He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the Class of 2001.

He had just finished his 14th season as offensive line coach for the Titans when he got the promotion to take over for the recently departed Jeff Fisher.

It's good to see the franchise promote from within to a man who has been with them as a player and a coach for nearly 30 years.
