What about them Dolphins. The Miami Dolphins beat the New England Patriots today, 38-13. In 2007 the Dolphins were the worst team in the NFL, finishing 1-15. The Patriots did the exact opposite. They had a perfect 16-0 regular season, but lost to the Giants in the Super Bowl, so they finished 18-1. The Patriots lost Junior Seau, Asante Samuel, and Donte Stallworth, but was able to get Deltha O'Neal. Then, in their first game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Tom Brady went down with a knee injury that ended his season. Kelley Washington, Eric Alexander, and Laurence Maroney also went down with injuries. The 2-0 Patriot where 6th in the NFL power rankings. The Dolphins gained Chad Pennington, Jake Long, Davone Bess, Kelly Poppinga, and Chad Henne. The 0-2 Dolphins were 30th in the NFL power Rankings. The first score was a Ronnie Brown 2-yard run to cap off an 8-play, 74-yard drive by the dolphins. The second score was a Stephen Gostowski 37-yard Field Goal for the Patriots. The third score was a 15-yard Ronnie Brown run to cap a dolphins 6-play, 79-yard drive. The fourth score was a Stephen Gostowski 44-yard field goal for the patriots. The fifth score was a Ronnie Brown 5-yard run to cap off a Miami 9-play, 77-yard drive. The sixth score was a Ronnie Brown 19-yard pass to Anthony Fasano to cap off a Miami 10-play, 79-yard drive. The seventh score was a Matt Cassel 5-yard pass to Jabar Gaffney to cap off a 7-play, 23-yard Patriot drive. The eight score was a Ronnie Brown 62-yard run to cap off a 6-play, 85-yard Miami drive. The ninth and final score was a Dan Carpenter 39-yard field goal for Miami.
