Dolphins-Patriots: Miami Destroys New England in Huge Upset

The Miami Dolphins shocked the NFL Sunday with a 38-13 victory over the New England Patriots. Miami handed the Patriots their first loss in 21 regular season games. New England's future isn't looking so good anymore.

The win gave Miami Head Coach Tony Sparano his first career win as a head coach, and it gave Bill Parcells his first win with Miami.

Miami shut down Matt Cassel so badly that the Patriots took him out in the fourth quarter. Randy Moss was almost a non-factor. Nothing was working for New England.

The Dolphins' best player was Ronnie Brown. Brown ran for four rushing TDs and threw for a fifth. He was everywhere, and then some. Before, he was sharing carries with Ricky Williams; but now he will definitely start and take almost all of the carries.

The Dolphins' win comes after some trash talking from Joey Porter earlier in the week. Porter justified backed up his talk, sacking Cassel three times.

This was the first time the Patriots have lost in the regular season since the Dolphins beat them in the 2006 season.

Without Tom Brady the Patriots seemed to fall apart. Many Patriots fans are hoping that this isn't a sign of things to come for the rest of this season, after the Pats did so well last season.

On the other side of the ball, Dolphins fans are hoping that their team will continue to play like this. Who knows, they might even make the playoffs.
